Mastan joins lab for postdoc

Dr. Mastanbabu Somepalli arrived in Philadelphia to join us to work on new genetic approaches to dissect the metabolism of Cryposporidium. Mastan has done very nice work on the role of Plasmodium berghei plasmepsins during the mosquito phase of the malaria parasite's lifecycle. He just defended his thesis in the lab of Arun Kumar at the University of Hyderabad in India.
