New Gates Foundation Grant to enable Crypto drug development

We are most grateful to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for substantial funding to pursue Cryptosporidium genetics. Under this project we will validate targets by conditional mutagenesis and link them to specific compound activity. We will also map the parasite metabolism and the essentiality of individual pathways though a broad genetic and metabolomic screens, We are looking to recruit posdocs to spearhead this project.
